Vizsla Agility League – 2006 Rules & Points

These are updated rules, and are based on Debbie Stewart's Independent Weimaraner Agility League. Any comments or suggestions to vizsla_agility@btopenworld.com please.

1. Please register your dog(s) with the league by May each year, or whenever they first compete

2. You can claim points for all shows from 1^st Jan to 31^st Dec in the year.

3. You can claim points on the "open" scale for all KC or independent (e.g. EMDAC or UK Agility) open shows and for shows limited by number of entries.

4. You can claim points on the "match" scale for your best 3 results at inter-club events, invitation events, training days, etc.

5. The "open" scale is 30 points for a win, down to 1 point for 30^th.

6. The "match" scale is 12 points for a win, down to 1 point for 12^th.

7. An unplaced verified clear round (gaining a Clear Round Rosette, or confirmed by the official results sheet) is 1 point.

8. Any pairs placing is 2 points.

9. Please send in your points at least monthly by the 15^th of the month following the show.

10. Dogs which are eligible to compete in Elementary or Starters classes at KC shows on 1^st January 2006 will compete in the Graduate section of the league. Other dogs will compete in the Postgraduate section.
